Classification Description:
- SN – For engines manufactured between 2010 and 2020. Allowed classifications: SJ, SL, SM, or ILSAC GF-5 (GF2, GF3, GF4).
- CF – For direct injection diesel engines using different types of fuels and containing more than 0.5% sulfur by weight.
- A5/B5 – High-performance with extended oil change intervals.
- ILSAC CF-5 evaluates motor oils for Asian vehicles.
- The ILSAC GF-5 standard was introduced in 2010 along with API SN.
